Can lack of education cause dementia? Understanding the link

According to a 2020 study by The Lancet Commission, an estimated 7% of worldwide dementia cases could be prevented by increasing early-life education. While a direct cause-and-effect relationship isn't proven, evidence suggests that a lack of education is strongly associated with an increased risk of developing dementia.
